Rich in cultural heritage, birthplace of elite Romanian musicians, writers and poets, it is better known for the Northern part, called Bucovina. Hundred of churches blending into the landscape, some of them unique, that is why they were included into the World Heritage list. Bucovina is rich with forests, pastures, this is the place to sample some of Romania`s best cuisine, based on cheese, sour cream, vegetables and wild mushrooms, and with maybe the sweetest potatoes you`ve ever tasted . It is an irony that people are too poor to use chemicals, so practically all vegetables are organic.
