This is a private, half-day tour. You will depart to Snagov (30 km from Bucharest) and visit the old monastery (14th century) located on an islet in the Snagov Lake.
There is a legend that says that here inside the monastery lays buried the head of Vlad the Impaler, also known as Vlad “Dracul”.
Then you shall visit Tiganesti monastery, famous for its architecture and the weaving workshop where nuns create beautiful works of art.
08:30 → Pick-up from your hotel in Bucharest. Departure to Snagov.
10:00 → Visit the old monastery (14th century) located on an islet in the Snagov Lake.
11:00 → Departure to Tiganesti Monastery.
11:30 → Visit Tiganesti Monastery and the nuns’ workshop.
13:00 → Arrival in Bucharest.
