A tour that will take you to discover some of the wonders of Muntenia, known in English as Greater Wallachia, the land in the Southern Carpathians. Although tourism is less developed here than in the richer Northern regions, there are some interesting spots not to be missed. You shall walk in a moon-like scenery at the Muddy Volcanoes, enter the protected area where amber rocks are discovered. The Amber Museum is a small friendly Museum displaying some of the treasures discovered here. And since soil and climate here are perfect for vineyards, no one leaves the area without a visit to a winery where you shall sample some of the fine wines that made famous this region.
08:00 → Pick-up from your hotel in Bucharest and departure.
10:30 → Arrival in Berca village, famous for bizarre geological occurrence, peculiar to this region.
11:00 → Visit the mud volcanoes, so called for obvious reasons, occurred as gas erupts from 3000 m underground and rising through layers of clay and water and bubbling at the surface.
13:00 → Lunch on your own in a local restaurant.

PM → Departure to pension.
17:30 → Arrival at pension, dinner on your own.

09:00 → Departure towards Magura.
09:30 → Arrival at Magura Sculpture Camp. This is an outdoor exhibition, with artworks scattered all around, in the middle of the nature.
11:30 → After the refreshing walk we shall continue our way and stop at a local restaurant.
14:00 → Departure to a winery, because this area is famous for the red wines
15:00 → We have arrived at La Certa Winery, one of the very best winery in Romania. Visit the winery and sample some of the wines produced here.
17:00 → Departure to Bucharest.
19:00 → Arrival in Bucharest.
