Day 1Saturday, Arrival in BUCHAREST.

  • Transfer under own arrangement. Overnight at a 4* hotel.

Day 2Sunday, BUCHAREST- SIGHISOARA- TARGU MURES. 360 km.

  • Breakfast at hotel. Morning departure to Sighisoara (UNESCO World Heritage site), free time for lunch and walking tour in the citadel, including the most important attractions: the Clock Tower, the house where Vlad the Impaler (Dracula) was born, we will climb the covered stairs to see Church on the Hill and enjoy the narrow streets of the old citadel. Departure to Targu Mures, known as “The City of Roses”. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3Monday, TARGU MURES- TURDA- CLUJ NAPOCA- TARGU MURES. 230 km.

  • Breakfast at hotel. Walking city tour of Targu Mures including the Town Hall, Medieval Fortress, Apollo Palace and the Palace of Culture. Departure to Turda, short visit to the historical center of Turda. Optional visit of Turda salt mine, a true museum of the history and the exploitation of salt. Continue to Cluj Napoca. Free time for lunch. Walking tour of Cluj city centre, where we will admire the Union Square, the equestrian statue of Matthias Corvin, the Gothic Saint Michael’s Church, the Opera Square, the Orthodox Metropolitan Cathedral and the Banffy Palace. In the afternoon return to Targu Mures. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4Tuesday, TARGU MURES- PREJMER- BRASOV. 220 km.

  • Breakfast at hotel then departure to Brasov. Stop in the village of Darjiu, visit the fortified church (UNESCO World Heritage site). Continue to Prejmer to visit the fortified church (UNESCO World Heritage site). Arrival in Brasov, free time for lunch. In the afternoon, visit of the old city centre of Brasov, see the old fortifications, the Synagogue, the Weavers’ Bastion, the Council Square, Catherine’s Gate, the Black Church. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5Wednesday, BRASOV- BRAN- SINAIA- BRASOV. 140 km

  • Breakfast at hotel. Departure to Bran, to visit the famous medieval castle, worldwide known as Dracula’s Castle. Road to Sinaia, the “Pearl of the Carpathians” located in the Prahova Valley. Free time for lunch in Sinaia. Visit of the famous Peles Castle, former summer residence of the Romanian Royal Family, one of the most beautiful castles in Europe. Return to Brasov and overnight at hotel.

Day 6Thursday, BRASOV- SIBIU- BUCHAREST. 420 km.

  • Breakfast at hotel. Morning departure to Sibiu, European Cultural Capital of culture in 2007. Walking tour including the Great Square, the Small Square, the Bridge of Lies, the Catholic Cathedral and the Evangelical Church, Huet Square. Free time for lunch then departure to Bucharest. If time allows, stop on the way to visit Cozia Monastery, in a picturesque setting on the banks of Olt river. Arrival in Bucharest and overnight at hotel.

Day 7Friday, BUCHAREST.

  • Breakfast at hotel. City tour including a visit of the Village Museum. We return to the city centre next to the Press House and the Arch of Triumph, we continue along the impressive boulevards Kiseleff and Victoria. Walking tour in the old city center. Free time for lunch and free afternoon to explore the city on your own. Optional visit to the Palace of the Parliament (subject to confirmation). Farewell dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.

  • Please note that the Palace of Parliament is an administrative building and can be closed without any prior notice. In this case we will replace the visit with Primaverii Palace/ Ceausescu’s House.
  • We do not recommend triple rooms for 3 adults, most hotels do not have rooms with 3 beds (most of them have double rooms with one sofa bed).
  • Children under 2 years old can join the tour free of charge.
  • Children under 11 years old in the same room with 2 adults with no additional service required will get 15% deduction from the rate in DBL/TWN sharing.
  • Information on the time of meeting with the guide on day 2, as well as other useful information regarding the tour will be sent in an envelope to the reception of the hotel at the time of guest check-in.
  • Exact Tours is not responsible if the visited sites are closed without prior notice and for any reason at the moment of your arrival.
  • The order of the visits and excursions is subject to change depending on the local conditions (traffic, weather forecast).

BOOKING CONDITIONS AND CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • To confirm your booking, 30% deposit of the total value of the tour will be paid, and the difference will be paid at least 30 days before the departure date.
  • For departures less than 30 days after booking, full payment is required.
  • The booking can be cancelled without penalty up to 7 days before arrival.
  • For any cancellation of at least 3 days or for NO SHOW, the penalties are 100 EUR/pax.
